We’re alyways online. Well amost always. Not only to do our daily work, but we’re always looking for quality information shared by others in the community. And often we see the same e-commerce websites passing by. So, what are the 10 best e-commerce blogs and websites around?
Our favourite and not without a reason. Geteleastic really is the number one e-commerce blog. A quick look at the number of subscribers they gathered should be enough to convince you.
2. Kissmetrics blog
The folks of Kissmetrics of course first have to sell their own product. But that isn’t any different from most other e-commerce blogs in this list. Kissmetrics decided to give their blog a bit less visible position, but because of Social Media and Search engines their articlees are visited like crazy. Also known for their regular Infographics.
3. Social Media Examiner
This blog isn’t particularly meant for online store owners. But the shared information about the different platforms and how to get the most out of them is very powerful. And every webshop owner knows nowadays that they can’t ignore social media and need to have a strategy for the platforms their target group is using. Here’s where you learn how to do it.
Some blogs or websites are mainly meant to share information and learn the tricks of the pros. Mashable is meant to share news. Mashable shares news on social media, technology and digital media. Interesting to quickly keep up to date with the latest news and trends. One warning though: don’t try to read everything.
Less known, but still valuable information and opinions in this e- commerce blog personally recommended by Roy Rubin, so what can we say?
7. The 9hr work week
Could have been higher in our ranking but the site didn’t receive any updates during the last couple of months anymore. Maybe the owner is more busy than advertised or just already earned enough by now.
Valuable for every online store. The better your SEO, the better your store will perform. Ok there are some other things as well that are important, but the best website without any visitors will never make a dime. Seomoz is a valuable resource for everybody interested in search engine optimization.
9. Seth’s blog
Can’t do without Seth Godin in a top ten list. Although Seth’s blog is not strictly about e-commerce of course I still feel that we can’t do without it here.
The last one, but certainly not the smallest one. Problogger is the number one blog when it comes to blogging / writing online. But that’s not all, the blog also features regular articles about for instance landing pages and conversion optimization.
Ok, the number 11 would have been Copyblogger, since both blogs more or less target the same audience. Interesting enough to subscribe.
For now there’s more than enough to read. Next time we’ll take a closer look at our favourite Magento websites. Do you have some not-to-miss e-commerce blogs that should have been in the list? As well general as Magento specific resources are more than welcome!
